PURPOSE:To freely select the card insertion direction by fixing a fixed housing, and rotating a moving housing while the curl section of a moving side contact is rotated in contact with a fixed side contact. CONSTITUTION:When a card male connector is fitted to a circuit board 10, one end of the fixed side contact 2 of the card male connector 2 is inserted into an electrode hole, fixed pieces 5 are inserted into fitting holes, they are fixed by solder connection 11, then this card male connector is fixed to the circuit board 10. The direction of the card insertion port of the connector can be optionally changed by rotating a moving housing 6. When a card 12 is inserted, a plug serving as input/output terminals of the card 12 is electrically connected to a moving side contact 7, and the contact 7 is electrically contacted with the contact 2 into the conducting state regrardless of the rotation angle of its curl section. |
