<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a control method for a supercharge pressure control valve excellent in controllability by providing constitution in such a way as switching a frequency of drive voltage, applied to the supercharge control valve at the time of a duty control, in a predetermined engine speed region. CONSTITUTION:In the case of an engine speed in not more than a preset value 3,000rpm, frequency of drive voltage, applied to a supercharge pressure control valve 8, is switched to 30Hz. Consequently, in this engine speed region, by avoiding resonance between the frequency of the drive voltage and intake pulsation, deflection of supercharge pressure, applied to a pressure chamber of an actuator 6, can be effectively suppressed. On the other hand, when the engine speed is increased to exceed the preset value 3,000rpm, a frequency of drive voltage, applied to the supercharge pressure control valve 8, is switched to 20Hz. Consequently, in such engine speed region, by avoiding the frequency of the drive voltage from resonating with intake pulsation, deflection of the supercharge pressure, applied to the pressure chamber of the actuator 6, can be effectively suppressed.</p> |
