Protein at least partially preventing interaction between the fragment Fc of an immunoglobulin G and its receiver, in particular receiver R III. This protein may be a protein having a commun sequence with the antigen CD 16 of receiver III, or an antibody directed against antigen CD 16. These antibodies may be directed against different antigenetic determinants of antigen CD 16, particularily antibody 3 G 8. These proteins or fragments of proteins, including antibodies or fragments of antibodies, may be used in the preparation of medicines, pharmaceutic compositions to be administered by parenteral or enteral means, or may be used in treating affections linked to the HIV virus, in particularily AIDS, myelodisplasia, and auto-immune affections. The proteins having a commun sequence with antigens CD 16 of the receiver Fc gamma III may be obtained by genetic recombinant techniques.
