PURPOSE:To simplify the production of a disk without having a need for providing the wobbling for a linear speed detecting signal by forming one of the land parts between a continuous groove and the continuous groove adjacent thereto in a radial direction as a signal recording part and imparting the linear speed detecting signal having the intermediate frequency of the reproducing frequency of the signal recording part and the detecting frequency of track servo to the other. CONSTITUTION:The spiral signal recording part 2 of the optical disk 1 is formed in one of the land parts 4 between the spiral continuous groove 3 and the continuous grooves 3 and 3 adjacent thereto in the diametral direction. The land part 4 is formed as the signal recording part 2. The linear speed detecting signal is formed in the groove 3 juxtaposed with the land part 4. The linear speed detecting signal has the intermediate frequency of the reproducing frequency of the signal recording part 2 and the detecting frequency of the track servo. This detecting signal can be constituted of the pit array used with, for example, a compact disk, unlike wobbling. The production of the disk is, therefore, easier than the disk provided with the wobbling. |
