PURPOSE:To allow a twist torque applied to an outer cylinder up to a large angle so as to secure great design freedom by point-symmetrically, on an axis, disposing resistance projections formed at both ends of a restriction plate for substantially bisecting the inside of a cavity. CONSTITUTION:Upon relative displacement of an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2 in the vertical direction, fluid 9 inside a cavity 5 vertically partitioned by a restriction plate 12 and resistance projections 14 moves through a space 16 formed between the restriction plate 12 and resistance projections 14 together with the movement of the restriction plate 12 and the resistance projections 14, and thereby generating a damping force. Even if a twist torque in the rotational direction is applied to the inner and outer cylinders 1, 2, a region where the restriction plate 12 or the resistance projections 14 does not interfere with a blind rivet 11 is enlarged in comparison with a conventional constitution so that the twist torque can be allowed up to a considerably large angle without causing any interference with the blind rivet 11. |
