PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency without damaging a lead cable or a sensor when the sensor is inserted into a tube where a liquid is flowing by providing a part which has lower specific gravity than the flowing liquid and has a predetermined capacity integrally with a signal transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A core part 6A of a lead cable 6 is constituted of an assembly of two kinds of members 6Ab, 6Ac, each being a bundle of threads, and is intervened between two signals lines 6Aa, 6Aa to separate the lines 6Aa, 6Aa. A water-repellent film 6B is wound around the whole of the core part 6A, the outer periphery of which is surrounded with an outer skin 6C of water shielding property. The members 6Ab, 6Ac and outer skin part 6C constitute a part of low specific gravity. When a sensor 4 and the lead cable 6 are inserted from an end opening of a tube 2, a water does not invade the core part 6A and therefore the specific gravity of the whole lead cable 6 becomes smaller than that of the water, resulting in sufficient buoyance. Accordingly, since the cable 6 is not in touch with the bottom of the tube 2, the sensor 4 can be inserted with good efficiency while hardly breaking the lead cable 6. |
