PURPOSE: To obtain a dental adhesive having extremely high initial adhesive strength and capable of preventing the formation of a crevice caused by the shrinkage of the filling agent in polymerization by using a specific unsaturated phosphate and an unsaturated acidic carboxylic acid ester in mixed state. CONSTITUTION: This dental adhesive is composed of (A) 1-25wt.%, preferably 5-20wt.% of (meth)acryloyloxyethyl-dihydrogen phosphate and/or di(meth) acryloyloxyethyl-hydrogen phosphate, (B) 3-40wt.%, preferably 5-30wt.% of an acidic carboxylic acid ester selected from dicarboxylic acid mono(meth) acryloyloxyethyl ester, o-trimellitic acid mono(meth)acryloyloxyethyl ester and pyromellitic acid di(meth)acryloyloxyethyl ester, (C) 0.05-5wt.%, preferably 0.1-2wt.% of a photopolymerization catalyst and the remaining part of ethanol.
