PURPOSE:To improve detecting sensitivity by providing at least one detecting means so that the means is deviated to either direction of two directions which are orthogonal to the axis Z in a supporting member, and fixing one electrode to the supporting member in a contact state. CONSTITUTION:Arm members 4 and 5 are made to extend in parallel in the direction of the axis Z. The members 4 and 5 are linked to a base 6 at specified interval in the direction of the axis Y. A driving vibrator 7 is fixed to a base stage 9 with a supporting member 8 which is protruding to the direction of the axis Z. A detecting means 22 is bonded to one side surface y1 which is orthogonal to the axis Y of the member 8 so that the means 22 is deviated to the direction of the axis X. In this vibration gyroscope, torsional moment Mt which acts on the member 8 caused by the generation of Coriolis force FC is detected with the means 22. Even if unnecessary vibration is generated in the base 6 in the direction of the axis Y because of the unbalances in masses, lengths and the like of the members 4 and 5, the leakage of the effect into the detected signal is effectively prevented, and the detecting sensitivity can be improved. |
