摘要 PURPOSE:To quantitatively compare the flow velocity even in the case of image data under a different ultrasonic condition by providing a color converting means for allocating color bar information for coloring to a frequency range detected, based on blood flow information, roughly like an S curve. CONSTITUTION:A reflected ultrasonic wave is received by a transmitting/receiving circuit 2, detected by a phase detecting circuit 3a and a signal consisting of a Doppler signal and a clutter signal is obtained. This signal is converted to a digital signal by an ADC 4, a clutter component is eliminated by an MTI filter 5, and a Doppler deviation signal by a blood flow is brought to frequency analysis by a self-correlator 6. Subsequently, the average flow velocity of Doppler, a dispersion, and power are derived by an average arithmetic part 7a, a dispersion arithmetic part 7b, and a power arithmetic part 7c, respectively, and these information is inputted to a coloring circuit 8. In the coloring circuit 8, a coloring characteristic being roughly like a log curve is used for a frequency range detected, based on blood flow information, and a blood flow speed is allocated as an absolute value to all gradations, therefore, the blood flow velocity can be colored quantitatively, and even in the case of image data under a different condition, the flow velocity can be compared quantitatively.
