Plastics branch pipe and concrete sewer - are connected by joint sealed with two-component adhesive applied by hand

The method is for connection of a house pipe toa sewer pipe which is made of concrete (2) and lined with plastics (3). A hole (5) is first bored in the wall of the concrete pipe and the exposed surface is coated with a two component adhesive. A branch pipe connection (6), which is made of plastics, is inserted into the hole (5) and pressed against the main pipe wall by a screw clamp (13). Any gaps between the plastic pipe connection (6) and the concrete pipe and its plastic liner are filled with adhesive by hand. USE/ADVANTAGE - Waste water is prevented from coming into contact with bare concrete.
