When making sew-free buttons the buttons are made in one piece from plastics or soft metals by the injection moulding process. Pressing devices may be used whereby the underside of the button is provided with short pointed tips supporting elastically movable barbs. The barbs can be directed sideways upwards and can adjoin the pins and then spread out. USE/ADVANTAGE - The buttons can be anchored securely in the garment without stitching.
