The appts. for identifying different liq. contains a rod-shaped measurement part with at least two measurement surfaces at one end electrically connected to an electrically powered audio generator at the other end of the measurement part. When the measurement part is immersed in a defined liq. the measured value detected at the measurement surfaces causes an audible tone to be generated at an audio reproduction device. Different measurement values result in different sounds. USE/ADVNATAGE - Esp. for reliably identifying different liq. in low viscosity liq. separators using easiliy handled, low-cost arangement.
