PURPOSE:To stabilize recording and regenerative output lights by executing output stabilization control by the front monitor photodetector of a semiconductor laser at the time of recording, and executing the output stabilization control by a rear monitor detector as driving the semiconductor laser by superposing high frequency on it at the time of regeneration. CONSTITUTION:By executing the output stabilization control respectively by the front monitor photodetector 7 at the time of the recording, and on the other hand, by the rear monitor detector 2 at the time of the regeneration, the front monitor photodetector 7 need not execute monitor at the time of the regeneration, and only at the time of the recording, it needs only to have enough quantity of light for monitor detection. Besides, since the rear monitor photodetector 2 is used as the monitor for the regenerative light, the influence of return light is removed by superposing a high frequency current on a semiconductor laser drive current at the time of the regeneration in order to control the variation of the output due to the return light, and turning laser oscillation multimodal. Thus, the stable light output is supplied at the time of both the recording and the regeneration without being influenced by the return light. |
