PURPOSE:To obtain the title unit capable of preventing electric shock accidents and the famishment of solution to be treated due to the upset of the electric cell treatment chamber by equipping the first vessel fixed in a cooling medium tank with the second vessel for supporting an electric cell treatment chamber and a voltage-applying member. CONSTITUTION:An electric cell treatment chamber 7 injected with a specified solution to be treated is set in an inner case 3. A voltage is then applied on the chamber 7 in a cooling medium tank 2 filled with a cooling medium using a voltage-applying member. Thereby, the voltage can be applied on the solution while cooling, and cell fusion or gene incorporation will be accomplished. Thus, in the present unit 1, the chamber 7 can be stably supported by the second vessel; therefore, the vanishment of the solution to be treated due to the upset of the chamber 7 and/or electric shock accidents can be prevented.
