Sub-structures for emergency bridge - consists of sheet pile supports carrying girders to which they are fixed by shoes

The substructure is for an emergency bridge. It consists of supports (1) in the ground carrying a girder (3) which is permanently fixed to them by a connecting shoe (2). The supports (1) are either sheet piles or vertical driven pilot beams. There is a cross-bolt (6) connecting the support to the connecting shoe. There are distancing sleeves (8) concentric with the bolt and there are retaining nuts (9) fitting on the ends of the bolt. USE/ADVANTAGE - Time saving construction for substructure of emergency bridge.
