This is a method of producing, from liquid manure from farm and other animals, briquettes and pellets for use in gasification or burning processes and which can be produced by extrusion or other means. USE/ADVANTAGE - This is an environment-friendly and economically significant development of this type of prodn. Contamination of the area used by the animals, with possible contamination of drinking water, is avoided. The briquettes can be used for generating producer gas, including that for internal combustion engines.
