摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the loss head of a cooling gas flow circulating through a thrystor module by a method wherein an insulating support for installing the lowest stage thrystor module on the bottom of a tank and a roughly horizontal air passage running from a side wall of the insulating support to the wind outlet of a blower are provided. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical, insulating support 11 supporting a piled thrystor module 1 extends to the bottom of a lower tank 4 whereon it is fixed secure. On the insulating support 11, a cylindrical wind tunnel 11a is formed, protruding orthogonally to the side of a branch tubing 8 of the lower tank 4. An insulating cylinder 13 is fixed tight by a bolt to the flange of the branch tubing 8, connected to the flange of a wind outlet 12 of a blower 7, belonging to the lower tank 4. On the outer circumference of the inner end of the insulating cylinder 13, an O-ring is provided, to ensure airtightness between the insulating cylinder 13 and the cylindrical wind tunnel 11a of the insulating support 11. The opening of the cylindrical wind tunnel 11a is roughly similar, in diameter d4, to the opening of the wind outlet 12 of the blower 7. The inner diameter of the insulating support 11 is d1, as in the conventional design. Accordingly, the loss head of the coolant gas flow is reduced.
