PURPOSE:To provide the title unit capable of applying voltage on multiple electric cell treatment chambers under identical conditions, equipped with a supporting member capable of circularly supporting multiple electric cell treatment chambers and a voltage-applying member for these chambers set up on the supporting member. CONSTITUTION:In order to perform cell fusion or gene incorporation in electric cell treatment chambers, voltage is applied on these chambers. At this time, pulse voltage is applied with lead pins 16, 16 fitted with electrodes from a pulse voltage generator. For the purpose of this, the current from the left pin 16 is transmitted to one electrode 23 in each chamber 20 via a conductor 10 and a supporting electrode 5; while the current from the right pin 16 to the other electrode 23 in the chamber 20 via the conductor 10 and another supporting electrode 6. Thus, in the chamber 20, voltage is applied on a cell suspension to perform cell fusion or gene incorporation. Through the above process, voltage can be applied under identical conditions on the multiple chambers 20 fitted on a chamber-supporting member 2; therefore, electric treatments can be made under identical conditions on the cell suspensions differing in kind from one another put into the respective chambers 20. |
