The hydraulic control for a friction coupling (1) rotating together with a shaft-hub (8) and possessing an operating-chamber (6) formed by a hydraulic piston (5) and hydraulic cylinder (4) has the operating chamber connected to an inflow and outflow duct for a pressurised medium. The radially outer part of the chamber is connected to a discharge valve (24) which has a ball valve (25) fitting into a cavity in the hydraulic piston possessing a valve seating (27). A pocket-shaped groove (29, 30) is attached to the edge of the cavity (26) in a rotational direction and against the rotational direction of the friction coupling.
