The IC engine is for power or working machines. It has tiltable pistons (4) located on a cylindrical rotor (1) with recesses. This is held on a shaft and moves in a cylindrical housing. The inner housing wall has two projections which, together with the tilted pistons, wall, and rotor, form a volume capable of expansion. Tilting of the pistons is caused by bolts in the pistons, which move in a groove in the housing wall. The projections on the housing wall carry air inlet valves, injection nozzles, and spark plugs.
