The spring-lock, held against rotation in a sun visor support housing (2), allows the visor (1) to rotate and be held on a pivot pin (4). The sheet metal spring-lock has a body section (8, 9, 10, 12) surrounding the pin, and a tongue section (11), held by the body and engaging a flat portion of the pin. Friction between the pin and body section holds the visor in various angular positions, with additional locking provided by the tongue and pin flat portion, when the visor is not in use. ADVANTAGE - Simpler assembly and construction.
