Test carrier analyser, esp. for blood analysis - uses carriers with insertion and handling ends in chamber with closure flap

A test carrier analyser for evaluation of a physically measurable change on a test carrier (3) which is characteristic for an analysis uses a carrier with ends (3a,3b) for insertion in the analyser and handling. The carrier is inserted into a measurement chamber (5) which is then sealed by a pivotable closure flap (6). The flap's pivot axis is transverse to the insertion direction, offset wrt. the closure face and closer to the top of the closed flap than the bottom (13). USE/ADVANTAGE - For analysis of body fluids, esp. blood, analyser is designed for easier handling than conventional arrangements.
