PURPOSE:To obtain the multicolor images which are excellent in both of brightness and saturation with a high sensitivity and high resolution by dry processing by successively executing a method for forming a single color image from a thermally diffusing dye on image receiving paper to a photosensitive of different color tones, thereby forming the multicolor images. CONSTITUTION:The photesensitive body 1 is laminated with the light transmission control layer 2 contg. a photosensitive silver halide 4, an org. silver slat and a reducing agent 5 and a polymerized layer 3 contg. a polymerizable monomer, a photopolymn. initiator, and a thermally diffusive dye 6 forming color images. The light transmission control layer 2 makes pattern formation by a difference in the transmittance of light of the wavelength to cleave the photospolymn. initiator in the polymerized layer 3 by the silver patterns, etc., formed in an image exposing stage and heating stage. The polymerized layer 3 forms polymerized patterns according to transmittance patterns when the layer is subjected to a full surface exposing stage and further, forms the thermally diffusive dye images corresponding to the polymerized patterns onto the image receiving paper when this layer is laminated with the image receiving paper and is heated. Thus, the multicolor images which are both excellent in the brightness and the saturation are formed on the image receiving paper with the high sensitivity and high resolution by the dry processing. |
