The machine is used for cutting objects on a curved path (6). It has a curved cutting element (2) which is fixed on a swinging mounting. Use of the curved cutting element together with the swinging mounting can produce a concave surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stone cutter can cut along a curved path and also along a path at right angles to the first cut to produce concave surface. The two radii of curvature may be unequal.
