The infant's push-chair has a frame mounted on front (3) and rear (4) axles with a wheel (11,13) each end of each axle. The frame supports a seat (17) which has a back-rest (21). The backrest can be swung backwards to the horizontal position to enable the infant to lie down. The seat (19) is so mounted that it slides forwards as the backrest is swung downwards so that the centre of gravity of the infant remains inn approx. the same position in relation to the axles (3,5) when lying down as when sitting so that the tendency of the push-chair to tip about either axle is unaffected.
