The floor tile has rows of projections formed on its upper surface. The projections (2) have a long narrow rectangular plan form with pointed ends. The projections (2) are arranged in groups of four with the long axes of each projection (2) in the same group being parallel to each other and at 45 deg. to the edge of the tile. The projections (2) in each group are arranged at 90 deg. to the projections (2) in adjacent groups. The upper surface (3) of each projection (2) has rows of very fine projections (4). USE - The projections on the surface of a tile on the floor provide a slip-proof surface without impeding the flow of water.
