Print head (1) relatively moved to a print media in a print direction (x) including at least two print elements aligned in said print direction and each of said print elements requires a predetermined time period to perform next print operations, and a print control means (8-11) for receiving print data to perform the print operations at current print position by the other of print elements in response to (a) said print data specifies the print operations at said current print position, (b) the print operations at a preceding print position just before said current print position were made by one of said print elements, (c) said predetermined time period of the other of said print elements has been elapsed, and (d) said print data does not specify the print operations at predetermined print positions just after said current print position. <IMAGE>
