PURPOSE:To automatically evade mismatch of an electrophotographic device and a commercial frequency, which is supplied in an area where the device is used, and to ensure a normal copying operation by providing the device with a copying control means which switches a sequence control means based on a power source frequency detected by a frequency detecting means and which executes copying control corresponding to each of plural power source frequencies. CONSTITUTION:The frequency detecting means 106 detects a power source frequency each time a main power source is turned on; the sequence control means 102 executes plural sequence controls corresponding to a power source frequency. The copying control means 103 switches the sequence control means 102 based on a power source frequency detected by the frequency detecting means 106, and executes copying control which corresponds to each of plural frequencies. In this manner, each time a power source is turned on, a power source frequency supplied in an area is automatically detected, and sequence control corresponding to the detected frequency is executed. Thus, mismatch of the electrophotographic device and a commercial frequency, which is supplied in an area where the device is used, can be evaded, and the normal copying operation can be ensured. |
