<p>Device for the connection of an electrical high voltage cable to an electrical apparatus, having an axial conductor (5), insulation (4), semi-conducting layer (3), metal screen (2) and outer sheath (1). It comprises: a) a cylindrically conical element (6) equipped on the large base of its cone (20A) with a collar (19), and of which the inner diameter of the cylindrical part (20) is greater than the diameter of the metal screen (2) of the cable, b) a connector element of general bi-frustoconical shape (7) in an elastomer material, pierced by a cylindrical bore (21), equipped on its outer surface close to the end of one of its cones with a rounded thread or grooving (22) and in its inside by a cone for relaxation of the electrical stresses (9), and comprising in the end region of its other cone a cylindrical bore (23) of diameter greater than the outer diameter of the cable, c) an abutment element (10) in the form of a cylindrical dish, of an outer diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the cylindrical bore (23) of the end region of the other cone of the connector element, and d) a cylindrical male contact element (11), of diameter less than the inner diameter of the abutment element, equipped at one of its ends with a peripheral spring for electrical contact of large diameter (12) and at the other end with a shoulder (13).
