The radiation source lobe and that of the detector system only overlap one another within a closed and limited area. The output effect from the radiation source is regulated by a regulating system back-coupled by means of radiation where the actual value is obtained as output signals from a monitor detector system achieved by spread light from a surface. Light hits this surface from the radiation source, whereby the regulating system ensures that the measurement system sensitivity is compensated for dirtying of the transparent material in the radiation path. - The surface in question spreads diffusely and is placed outside the main detector lobe and longer away from the radiation source than the centre of gravity of the area where the radiation source lobe overlaps that of the detector system. |
