<p>The present invention provides a flame retardant composition comprising (A) a blend of 20 to 90% by weight of a thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate with 80 to 10% by weight of a thermoplastic addition polymer which is a copolymer of a styrene with at least one acrylic or maleic monomer and/or a graft polymer of a styrene, an acrylic monomer or said copolymer on a rubber, (B) 0.1 to 80% by weight, based on the weight of (A), of aluminium methyl methylphosphonate, and (C) 0 to 5% by weight, based on the weight of (A), of a polymer of a fluorine-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer.</p> |
