This lock comprises a finger (6) movable in horizontal translational motion, projecting from the face plate (11) of the lock when the door is open and retracting into the case (1) when the door is closed, actuating in this movement a set of two racks (34, 51) which are associated with a gearwheel (4) and which cause the blocking of the bolt and therefore the locking of the door which can then be opened either by means of the push bar actuating a first nut (7) or by means of a handle operating a second nut (8) from outside, the latter operation being preventable by a locking of the door carried out by means of a key inserted into a double barrel (9). <IMAGE>
