PURPOSE:To enable the layout of various kinds of collets on the whole and extend the region of parts to be handled by varying the arrangement of suction collet groups as for the whole of turret groups or its partial group. CONSTITUTION:Each turret 13 of an index table 12 of a part vacuum-clamping device 5 is designed to project various different kinds of suction collets 15 to 18 radially. Out of these collets, the collets 15 to 17 are designed to be a general purpose type which holds parts whose shapes and sizes are in a specified range while the collet 18 is designed to be an exclusive type which holds parts different in type, shape and size per turret 13. This construction makes it possible to extend the range of parts to be handled with a single mode. |
