PURPOSE:To obtain a mineral treated material of humid fine powder capable of quickly controlling water content into a desired range and having stable quality by adding a dried fine powder mineral and cement to a humid fine powder, kneading the blend and granulating the kneaded material. CONSTITUTION:Proper amounts of a dried mineral and a cement are added to a humid fine powder mineral and the blend is kneaded, granulated and uniformed in granule size. Specifically, 5-30 pts.wt. dried mineral having <=5wt.% water content and 5.1-5 pts.wt. cement are added to 70-90 pts.wt. humid mineral having 35-25wt.% water content and the blend is kneaded, granulated and uniformed in granule size or 5-30 pts.wt. dried mineral and 5-1.5 pts. wt. cement are added to 70-90 pts.wt. humid mineral and the blend is kneaded, granulated and uniformed in granule size. Further, a mixture of 10-20wt.% of the above-mentioned treated material and 80-90wt.% crushed stone can be used as roadbed material. According to the above-mentioned treating method, the treated material becomes water insoluble by subjecting the treated material to hydration reaction. As a result, the resultant treated material retains original characteristic even when used in a place rich in water content or in humid soil and is excellent also as a soil improver. |
