The taping unit comprises a supporting frame (1), means (36, 37, 38) for the delivery of the adhesive tape, an entry application roller (5) and an exit application roller (13) movable between an extracted or at rest position and a retracted position, and tape cutting means (24). The entry application roller (5) is mounted on a mobile support (6), which is engaged with guide means (8, 9, 10, 11) contained within the outline of the frame (1) of the taping unit and conformed so as to move said entry roller (5) along a circular path with its centre positioned outside said frame (1). Such guide means (8, 9, 10, 11) are preferably constituted by a fixed pivot (9) slidably engaged in a shaped slot (8) of said mobile support (6) and by a connection pivot (10) between the same mobile support (6) and an arm (11) rotatable on a fixed axis (12). |
