<p>PURPOSE:To inform accurate state information relating to the state of a network to the user by supplying a signal of a 2nd band representing the status information to each of plural 2nd MODEMs upon the notice request. CONSTITUTION:When a notice request comes from any of plural MODEMs 120, a status information supply means 113 of a 1st MODEM 110 supplies the status information relating to the state of a network (e.g. information representing 'state of loopback test') to a 2nd communication means 112. The 2nd communication means 112 sends a signal of a 2nd band representing the status information to a private line 101 and the signal is received by a 4th communication means 122 of a relevant 2nd MODEM 120. A recognition means 123 recognizes the information relating to the status of the network based on the received signal. Since the signal representing the status information is sent through the 2nd band by using the 2nd communication means 112, no effect is given to the data transmission reception implemented by using the 1st band.</p> |
