PURPOSE:To fix securely the position of a paper supply unit provided telescopically in an unit body by providing a lock machanism consisting of swing levers engaging each other on the paper supply unit side and the body side respectively. CONSTITUTION:A paper supply unit 5 capable of attaching paper supply cassettes 3, 4 on two upper and lower stages is suspended from left and right expansible rails 13, 13 to be withdrawn in the counter-paper-supply direction, and a lock mechanism 19 to lock the paper supply unit 5 to the paper supply position is constituted from swing levers 20, 23 engageable with each other. The swing lever 20 is formed with a handle 20' integral therewith, supported by the paper supply unit 5 through a shaft rod 26 and urged by a spring 27 in the direction of projecting a pair of pins 21 upward. Also, the swing lever 23 is formed with a hook 22 integral therewith, supported pivotally by a pin 29 on both sides of a member 28 fixed to the upper surface of a space in which the paper supply unit of a main body 1 is installed and urged to depress the hook 22 side by a spring 30. |
