<p>PURPOSE: To absorb vibrations induced in the body of a car so as to relax shocks given to coils by a method, wherein a mounting boss is formed on an overhang which protrudes from a case where a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a magnetic flux return circuit are housed, and a mounting bolt is inserted into a metal core inserted into the boss for mounting the case on the body. CONSTITUTION: An outer boss 11 is continuously connected to a case 8 in one piece through the intermediary of an overhang 12. Metal shafts 13 are provided inside the boss 11, so as to mount a coil device on the body of a car. The shaft tubes 13 form metal cores and are completely mechanically separated from the metal armatures of the case 8. Nicks provided to the cylinder 15 of the cores or the shaft tubes 13 can be brought into close contact with the insulating material of the case 8 in a molding process. The expanded parts 14a and 14b located at the edges of the core 13 prevent the core 13 from moving in the axial direction and falling off. As the boss 11 provided to the case 8 is mechanically separated from the fixed part of the case 8, coils are mounted on the body of a car in a mechanically flexible manner, so that the coils can be protected against vibrations and deterioration.</p> |
