Device for braking of wheel-borne winch

The invention relates to a device for braking of a wheel- borne winch without locking of wheels or anchorage of the winch in any stationary object. The invention solves this by the winch truck being fitted with a standing plate 2. In braking of the truck, the operator stands on the standing plate, thereby generating high friction against the ground or floor. In order to obtain better braking effect, a stop lug 3 is fitted to the bottom side of the truck in such position that when the operator stands on the standing plate the wheels will be released from the support surface. Upon braking, the truck will stand against the ground on the stop lug and the standing plate.
