COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS SYSTEM HAVING THE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To change the direction of a cursor by simple operation to display it by transferring instructed display direction information to an electronic apparatus at the time of changing the display direction of the cursor. CONSTITUTION:A rotating dial 6 is used for changing the display direction of the cursor displayed on a CRT display 9 connected to a personal computer body 8 (provided with a keyboard 10). A pulse signal is generated in each fixed fine angle to inform the turning angle of the dial 6 to a data transfer circuit 7. Consequently the coordinate input device capable of indicating direction of the cursor to coincide with an operator's aiming direction can be formed.
