The traffic guide member has one or more profiled sidewalls. The sidewall is formed by a series of profiled components (8-10) extending in the lengthwise direction of the member, one above the other and fixed to columns (11) spaced apart. The components can be of C-section, secured to the columns by their flanges. At the ends of the member components one above the other can be joined by a coupling strip protruding past their ends.
