PURPOSE:To enable magnetically recorded data to be read correctly by providing a thermally sensitive layer of 2 to 8mum thickness which consists mainly of a resin base and an organic low molecular substance dispersed in the base and of which transparency changes reversibly depending on the temperature. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording layer 2 is provided on a support 1 and a light reflecting layer 3 is provided on the layer 2. Furthermore, a thermally sensitive layer 4 is provided, on the layer 3, which has 2 to 8mum thickness and consists mainly of a resin base and an organic low molecular substance dispersed in the resin base and of which transparency changes reversibly depending on the temperature. Thus spacing loss (separation loss) of magnetically recorded data in the thermally sensitive layer 4 is minimized. In addition, a high contrast, rewritable display can be obtained. |
