Method and arrangement for adding binder to mineral wool in a process in which binder is supplied to a stream of fibres 8 suspended in an air or gas flow 7, and in which a primary mineral-wool web 14 is first formed by the fibre suspension being conducted by means of a perforated belt 9 which, in a collecting chamber 17, separates the gas from the fibres, which primary mineral-wool web 14 can then form a final mineral-wool web 32 by combining a number of primary mineral-wool layers, extra binder and/or impregnation agent being added 33, 38 to one or both edges on the primary web 14, which edge(s) essentially form(s) the upper or lower layer of the final mineral-wool web 32, in addition to the binder which is added to the fibre suspension before the primary web 14 is formed. <IMAGE> |
