PURPOSE:To simplify a system construction by a method wherein conductors for gas leakage sensor singnals are connected to terminal control units respectively, each of which is connected to a gas space heater. Each gas leakage sensor is connected to a central control system through lighting wiring so that the contral control system controls the system through each terminal control unit. CONSTITUTION:Communication is made through lighting wiring 5a from the central control system 6 to a specific terminal control unit 4 to transmit control commands for the appropriate space heater 3. After receipt of the commands, the specific terminal control unit 4 returns information about the specific heater 3 together with information about an appropriate leakage gas sensor 7 to the central control system 6 through the lighting wiring 5a. Such exchange of information is made to and from all the terminal control units 4 and is kept repeated after completion of such a cycle. Gas leakage detection signals from the sensors 7 are input into the central control system 6 through appropriate terminal control units 4 whereby the contral control system 6 outputs signals to the terminal control units 4 and to a second terminal control unit 4a to stop operation of the heaters 3 and to shut a shut-off valve 2. This permits simplification of system construction. |
