<p>PURPOSE: To hold an inter-wall stud in the specified position and to fix it strongly by installing inter-wall stud and engaging between projections formed on at least one side-face flange of each metal frame having approx. a U-section. CONSTITUTION: A metal frame 11 having approx. a U-section is formed from metal channels made by a rolling process comprising a base plate 13 stretching in the longitudinal direction and a pair of side-face flanges 14, 14 extending in the longitudinal direction. On at least either side-face flange 14, projections 22 protruding toward the other flange 14 are formed at the specified spacing over the longitudinal direction. At each join 10 of the metal frame 11 and inter- wall stud 12, stud 12 is positioned between the projections 22 of the flanges 14, 14 and engaged fast with the metal frame 11.</p> |
