<p>In the case of the filter apparatus for extruding installations, in which a molten stream of plastic passes through a flow channel (1) in a filter housing (5) to a die (6), the flow channel is divided on the inlet side by means of a three-way change-over valve (2) into two branch lines (7 and 8), which open out jointly on the outlet side at the extrusion die (6) via a flow channel section (1') and in the flow path of each of which there is arranged a displaceable filter band (3 and 4, respectively). It is possible by these measures to restore the predetermined throughflow capability of the filter band means by displacing of the filter band means from then on without any flow pressure. <IMAGE></p> |
