They are used in the construction of walls, partitions, swimming pools, pillars, main walls, etc. They may be angular, curvilinear, rectilinear, regular, irregular, artistic, geometrical, single or composite, both in plan and in elevation. In addition to being useful on account of their visible faces, they may be decorated, made multicoloured (polychromed), enamelled, made smooth or embossed. They are characterized by a flange in their upper part which couples with a depression carried in the lower part thereof, in order to allow them to be superimposed on one another and to achieve closure. At their ends they have a step in their upper part and in the other in the lower part, achieving their longitudinal or angular assembly, obtaining the shuttering for possible subsequent filling with concrete. <IMAGE>
