An antenna circuit (22, 52, 54) coupled to a radio receiver (56), and especially to an FM radio pager, also provides coupling to a battery-charging circuit (50) by which the batteries operating the receiver (56) or pager can be charged. The invention includes a charging stand (90) into which such a receiver (56) can be placed for recharging. The invention is especially adapted to the types of receivers that are contained within wristwatch devices wherein the wristband (14) of the watch contains the receiver antenna (22). |
