<p>The coupling joins two tubes (1,2) together at right angles, having a locking member (5) inside the first one and extensible in the lengthwise direction. A portion (6,7) of the member engages behind an opening (4) in the second tube. Its rear end is of angular shape (16) so as to bear against the inside of the first tube and form a ramp face (10), against which a clamping screw (11) in a hole in the first tube bears, so as to pull it back inside the latter and clamp the tubes together. @(Dwg.No.1)@.</p> |
