<p>PURPOSE:To adjust and stop a carried-in paper sheet without damaging the end of the paper sheet by providing a feed roller member driven through a torque limitter in a transport path in front of a stopper member disposed in a position for switching a paper transport method. CONSTITUTION:When a paper sheet P is skewed from A direction by a feed roller member 8, the leading end of the paper sheet P is brought into contact with a movement checking member 6c positioned in the outermost portion of three stopper members 6 and subjected to the reaction force R by the portion of the movement checking portion 6c. Subsequently, the paper sheet P is transported in the direction of an arrow A by the transport force Fr of the feed roller member 3, so that if the paper sheet P is firm not to be buckled in the course of transport, the paper sheet is turned on O point of the movement checking portion 6c in the direction of an arrow H and aligned, with the leading end of the paper sheet brought into contact with the respective movement checking portions 6a-6c. After correction of skewing, the transport load is, as described above, becomes overload, so that racing is caused in a torque limiter 31 and an elastic rubber ring 32 of the feed roller member 3 is stopped.</p> |
